Most booking tools stop at the payment.

After someone books, the real work starts. You find enough guides for the group, chase heights and shoe sizes over WhatsApp, and sort wetsuits at eight in the morning. That part usually lives in spreadsheets, group chats and someone's memory.

  • Guide planning in a spreadsheet. Nobody sees who is free, and a sold-out trip turns out to have one guide too few.
  • Sizes collected by hand. Customers forget, guides call around, and the wrong wetsuits go in the van.
  • Payments in three places. Online deposits, cash at the desk and reseller bookings never add up in one overview.

Ropeline handles the booking and everything after it.

One system, a view for everyone involved

Your office

  • Activities, prices and descriptions in up to five languages
  • Sessions with repeat rules, minimum and maximum group size
  • Bookings, participants, payments and refunds on one screen
  • Automatic confirmations, reminders, payment links and review requests
  • Revenue by activity, sales channel and month, with export for your accountant

Your guides

  • Their own schedule on their phone
  • Availability in a few taps; you assign, the app checks for clashes
  • Participant list with sizes, ages and emergency contacts
  • Gear list per person, ready before they load the van
  • Works without signal at the bottom of the canyon

Your customers

  • Book and pay on your own website through a widget
  • Deposit or full payment, the rest collected automatically
  • Participant details now or later through a personal link
  • Cancel or rebook themselves within your rules
  • Emails in their own language, sent from your domain

Your partners

  • Campsites, hotels and resellers book for their guests
  • On account or with direct payment
  • Commission per partner and a monthly statement
  • Each partner only sees their own bookings

Sizes in, the right gear out

  1. Customers enter sizes once. Height, weight and shoe size per participant, at checkout or later through their personal link. Returning customers pick from people they booked before.
  2. You set size rules once. A wetsuit M fits 165 to 175 cm and 58 to 72 kg. Shoes go by shoe size. Bikes by height.
  3. The trip sheet does the sorting. Every guide sees who gets what, and you get a warning when a size runs out before the trip, not at the van.

Never sell a place you can't guide

Bookable places are calculated from three limits at once. Add a guide and places open up. Run out of wetsuits and they close.

12Activity maximum
122 guides at 1 per 6
10Wetsuits that fit the booked sizes
10Places on sale

Groups below your minimum get flagged in time, so you can merge, cancel or refund automatically.

From sign-up to first online booking

  1. Connect your Stripe account. Customer payments go straight to you.
  2. Add activities, prices and gear rules. We do this together with pilot partners.
  3. Plan sessions and add your guides. They install the app from a link.
  4. Put the booking widget on your website. One line of code, or use your own booking page.

Shape it with us: pilot programme 2027

We are building Ropeline with outdoor companies, not for them. Ten pilot partners use it in the 2027 season and decide what comes first.

You get

  • Free use during the pilot season
  • A founding price, 30% off for two years after the pilot
  • Your activities, prices and gear set up together with us
  • A direct line to the developer

We ask

  • Use it for real bookings
  • A 30-minute feedback call once a month
  • Honest feedback on what doesn't work

Questions

Can I use it today?

Not yet. Ropeline is in development. Pilot partners start with the first release ahead of the 2027 season. Everyone else can join the waiting list and hear first when it opens.

Do you take a cut of my payments?

Only the small fee per online booking shown in the plans, deducted automatically by Stripe. Bookings you enter yourself and partner bookings on account are free of fees.

Can I move over from my current booking system?

Yes. You can import activities, customers and gear from a spreadsheet export. For pilot partners we do the move with you.

Does the guide app really work without signal?

Yes. The day's trips, participants and gear lists are stored on the guide's phone. Check-ins and notes sync once there is signal again.

Can customers book on my own website?

Yes. You place the booking widget on your site, or link to your own booking page on your domain. Customers stay in your brand the whole way.

What about GetYourGuide, Viator and other platforms?

You can already record bookings per sales channel and give each channel its own price. Direct connections with the large platforms are planned after the first release.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in the EU. Each company has its own separate database, and you sign a data processing agreement with us.

Tell us about your company

Apply as a pilot partner, ask for a demo call, or just stay informed. We read every answer ourselves and reply within two working days.

Your answers help us decide what to build first, even if you don't join the pilot.
